    Apple Will Soon Allow Android, Windows Users to Share Photos to iCloud Shared Albums

    iCloud Shared Albums will introduce cross-platform photo sharing with full-resolution support. With this update announced during the WWDC 2026, Android and Windows users will be able to share photos to iCloud Shared Albums while retaining full-resolution image quality. This functionality will be available with the release of iOS 27 and macOS 27 this fall. Right now, Android users cannot view or participate in iCloud Shared Albums.
