Haryana Mandates EV Charging Infrastructure in All New and Renovated Buildings

Haryana's Town and Country Planning Department has mandated EV charging infrastructure and 100% EV-readiness in all new and renovated residential and commercial buildings, effective June 5, 2026. This amendment to the Haryana Building Code 2017 requires specific charging ratios (1:3 for commercial, 1:5 for residential), exempts EV infrastructure from FAR.
