Apple has announced several refinements to its Liquid Glass design language in iOS 27 and across its software platforms. The update introduces a new Settings slider that lets users adjust the level of transparency, alongside changes aimed at improving visual clarity and contrast. Apple has also redesigned app icons to appear sharper and more distinct. On macOS 27 Golden Gate, the company is bringing back familiar interface elements such as coloured sidebar icons, edge-to-edge sidebars, and a more consistent toolbar design.
