Election Commission may launch phase III of voter roll revision across 22 states, UTs soon

The Election Commission is preparing to expand its Special Intensive Revision exercise to the remaining 22 states and Union Territories after completing electoral roll verification in 13 regions, where over 5 crore entries were removed and more than 60 lakh deceased voters were identified.
