    India's workforce is increasingly moving beyond major metros as 50-55% of young professionals prioritise quality of life over higher salaries, according to a new report. Nearly 70% of formal hiring growth is now coming from non-metro cities, while 30-35% of remote workers are based in tier-2 and tier-3 locations. The study also finds that persistent workforce disruptions are prompting employers to adopt distributed hiring models and rethink talent strategies across the country.
