US President Donald Trump predicted global oil prices will 'drop like a rock' if a detailed memorandum of understanding with Iran is finalized. He stated the deal will reopen Gulf shipping routes, bar Iran from nuclear weapons, and lower fuel and fertilizer costs. As an importer of 85 per cent of its crude, India could see significant economic relief.
