Politics: Rekha Gupta highlights 12 years of Modi government, calls it a transformative era for India

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while highlighting the Modi government's 12-year tenure, presented a wide range of achievements across manufacturing, technology, defence, infrastructure, welfare and economic reforms. She stated that India has become the world's second-largest mobile phone manufacturer and has attracted significant semiconductor investments under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme has boosted manufacturing output and employment, while defence exports have expanded to over 100 countries. She also emphasized the growth of startups, development of the Northeast, and redevelopment of major religious sites. On welfare, she cited claims that 25 crore people have moved out of poverty, 81 crore continue receiving free ration, and over 58 crore Jan Dhan accounts have been opened. She further highlighted progress in rooftop solar installations, PM-Kisan benefits, Ayushman Bharat healthcare coverage, housing schemes, PM SVANidhi, Stand-Up India, Ujjwala Yojana and the Lakhpati Didi initiative as key milestones of the government's governance model.
