    Rahul Gandhi has intensified the controversy over CBSE’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, alleging that tender norms were repeatedly relaxed to help COEMPT secure the contract. He questioned changes in scanning standards, certification requirements and penalty clauses after earlier bidding rounds failed. The row follows widespread student complaints about blurred scans, missing pages and portal glitches during Class 12 re-evaluation. CBSE denied favouritism, saying all procedures followed government norms, while Gandhi demanded an independent judicial probe.
