UP to set up NDRF-style rescue force in 10 districts; 240 personnel to be trained

Uttar Pradesh is preparing to significantly strengthen its disaster management and fire safety infrastructure through a specialised rescue force, expanded firefighting capabilities, new fire stations and advanced equipment aimed at addressing risks arising from rapid urban and industrial development.
