    A special MP-MLA court in Uttar Pradesh has sentenced Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan to two years in jail in connection with a 2019 election campaign speech case linked to his alleged “tankhaiyya” remarks. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the veteran politician.
