Bihar to audit assets of 2,500 registered temples and mutts to prevent illegal land transactions

The Bihar State Religious Trust Council (BSRTC) will seek detailed records from registered temples and mutts across Bihar and has also directed them to obtain prior approval before allowing activities by private organisations or government bodies on their premises.
