The controversy surrounding the death of Twisha continues to deepen as her family has made fresh allegations against her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh. According to the family, Giribala made several phone calls to influential individuals after May 12, including IAS, IPS, and judiciary-linked officials. The family released detailed call records showing whom she contacted and at what time, claiming attempts were made to influence the investigation. However, it is still unclear whether conversations actually took place, how long they lasted, or what was discussed. None of the people whose names appeared in the call records have publicly responded yet. Another major allegation is that Giribala Singh is violating the conditions of her bail. Reports say she has ignored three police notices and is not cooperating with the investigation, despite receiving bail on the assurance that she would assist investigators. Questions are now being raised about delays in police interrogation. Meanwhile, Twisha’s family is demanding a fresh postmortem in Delhi, the arrest of her husband Samarth, an independent investigation, and transfer of the case to Uttar Pradesh, alleging strong influence of the in-laws in Madhya Pradesh.
