PIL seeks CBI probe into Cockroach Janta Party activities, alleges misuse of court remarks

A public interest litigation filed in the Supreme Court has sought a CBI probe into the activities of the self-styled “Cockroach Janta Party”, alleging misuse and commercial exploitation of remarks made by the apex court. The plea also raises concerns over fake advocates with alleged fraudulent degrees and warns against the commodification of constitutional proceedings for publicity and digital campaigns.
