WhatsApp's Scheduled Messages Feature Leaks Ahead of Release, Might Offer Various Useful Capabilities

WhatsApp is reportedly developing a scheduled messaging feature for iPhone that would work in both individual and group chats. Users may be able to choose a delivery time by holding the send button and schedule messages up to two weeks in advance. The feature is also expected to include a dedicated section for managing pending messages and deleting them before delivery. Scheduled messages in groups would only reach members who were present when the message was created. The functionality remains under development.
