Elon Musk’s xAI Sued by Former Engineer Over Grok Safety Whistleblowing Claims Ahead of SpaceX IPO

A former xAI engineer, Devin Kim, has filed a lawsuit in California against the artificial intelligence firm and its parent company, SpaceX. The complaint alleges that Kim was unlawfully dismissed in September 2025 after repeatedly raising alarms regarding AI safety, political bias, and regulatory non-compliance during the development of the Grok chatbot.
