    The US Senate has confirmed Kevin Warsh as the new Chair of the Federal Reserve on Wednesday in a 54-45 vote, the most partisan confirmation for the role in history. Warsh, a 56-year-old lawyer and financier, replaces Jerome Powell, whose term as chair ends this Friday.
