Navi Mumbai Water Cut: NMMC Announces 10% Water Cut Starting May 25 As Morbe Dam Stock Plummets

Following low water stock at the Morbe dam dipping below 20 per cent, the NMMC implemented a mandatory 10 per cent water cut across Navi Mumbai starting May 25. The civic body also scheduled twice-weekly evening supply suspensions across various nodes and a total Friday shutdown in CIDCO areas to conserve remaining reserves ahead of the monsoon.
