    Physics has emerged as the subject generating the highest number of complaints during the CBSE Class XII re-evaluation process, with students alleging missing marks, strict checking, lack of step-marking and answer-sheet discrepancies. Many reported unexpectedly low scores despite attempting questions correctly. Mathematics and chemistry also attracted complaints over evaluation practices, while biology saw fewer grievances. Educators noted concerns about inconsistent marking standards and unusually strict assessment. CBSE has assured students that all genuine re-evaluation requests will be reviewed.
