Trump says US military helped move 100 million barrels of oil through Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump said a secret military mission launched last month helped more than 200 commercial ships safely transit the Strait of Hormuz, enabling over 100 million barrels of oil to reach global markets. Trump also claimed the US, not Iran, controls the strategic waterway and declared that Iran's military and economy had been defeated.
