Padma Awards 2026 Highlights: Hema Malini accepts Dharmendra's honour, Prosenjit Chatterjee felicitated

India’s biggest civilian honours ceremony took place in New Delhi today, May 25, as President Droupadi Murmu conferred the Padma Awards 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Several celebrated names from cinema, music, theatre and public service received honours, including Dharmendra (posthumous), Prosenjit Chatterjee, Arvind Vaidya and Piyush Pandey (posthumous). The second phase of the ceremony will be carried out soon.
