Skymet sees early but weak monsoon onset, heatwave persisting into early June

Jatin Singh, Founder & Chairman of Skymet Weather Services, said the expected monsoon onset over Kerala around May 26 may not bring immediate relief, as the initial phase is likely to be weak and unstructured. He added that meaningful monsoon rainfall in India typically begins only from June.
