US Proposes 12.5% Tariff on 60 Countries, Including India, Over Forced Labour To Produce Imported Goods

US has proposed additional import duties ranging from 10% to 12.5% on 60 major economies, including India, China, and the United Kingdom. The announcement follows the conclusion of simultaneous Section 301 investigations into whether America's trading partners are doing enough to block goods made with forced labor from entering global supply chains.
