Vertical Aerospace achieves first piloted flight of hybrid-electric aircraft

Vertical Aerospace has successfully completed the maiden piloted flight of its full-scale hybrid-electric aircraft prototype. The aircraft will now undergo extensive testing, including thrustborne, wingborne and transition flight, ahead of the Critical Design Review
