Kota Mothers' Deaths: Probe Finds Oxytocin Injection Vials Given After C-Sections Contained Water

Five women died after cesarean deliveries at Kota's New Medical College Hospital in Rajasthan, and investigators have now found that oxytocin injections administered to control post-delivery bleeding allegedly contained only water. Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar admitted the irregularity, while officials confirmed that samples failed quality tests. The supply chain is under investigation.
