India has introduced E85 fuel, marking a shift toward ethanol-based mobility. Currently, only three vehicles, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR Flex Fuel and Hero’s Splendor+ and HF Deluxe Flex Fuel, are compatible. While Hero’s motorcycles will launch in July 2026, Maruti Suzuki has yet to announce a showroom release date for its flex-fuel car.
