ChatGPT Could Soon Become an AI Superapp With Coding Tools and Agents: Report

OpenAI is reportedly preparing a major overhaul of ChatGPT that will transform the service into a broader AI "superapp" centred on AI agents, coding tools and paid services. According to the Financial Times, the redesign will highlight Codex, image generation features and selected partner applications, while steering users towards revenue-generating products. The company is also increasing its focus on enterprise customers, which already contribute about 40 percent of revenue. The changes are expected to roll out in the coming weeks across ChatGPT's web and mobile apps.
