    West Bengal TMC leader Jahangir Khan, also known locally as “Pushpa of Falta,” was arrested and paraded by police in the Falta area after being taken into custody in connection with extortion and other charges.Khan was reportedly arrested near the India-Nepal border in Panitanki after allegedly attempting to evade authorities. A Diamond Harbour court remanded him to five days of police custody after multiple FIRs were registered against him at Falta police station.The incident has sparked political debate in Bengal, with the police parade being seen as part of a tougher approach against alleged local musclemen, syndicates and criminal networks.
